Several months ago I started to scratch build the CB Skipjack as described in "The Skipjack" by Steve and Patricia Rogers. This book does not include any plans, but it does have several templates, i.e. for the transom, cutwater, etc., so it is very much a scratch build. The scale is 1/2" = 1'. Since the finished model will be painted white just as the original boat was, I used sitka spruce I had available to cut all the "lumber" for this build.
